Amanda + Josh's Poconos Wedding // Clifford, PA
When Amanda & Josh got engaged, Amanda began dreaming of a wintery wedding in the mountains. She meticulously chose every detail for her big day, with the exception of Josh’s suit, which he insisted should be a deep red velvet. Each detail they chose was a perfect compliment to the next. From the flowers, to the table settings, to the amazing black and gold cake.
When they started planning their wedding, it was initially going to be an intimate elopement in the woods. But Amanda & Josh quickly realized that they wanted to celebrate their union surrounded by those who were most important to them. The venue was an AirBnB on 40 acres with views of Elk Mountain, and the woods on the property were the perfect setting for their first look, as well as their portraits.
Special thanks to Josh and his groomsmen who carried two large blue velvet chairs about a quarter-mile from the barn, down the hill, across the creek, and into the woods. Amanda and I both agreed they were the perfect accent for the bridal party photos after the ceremony.
I can’t thank Amanda & Josh enough for entrusting me with capturing the details and special moments on their big day. It was truly an honor to witness and be part of this with them.
